1) ISO Image
a) Before proceeding with converting a Windows 2012 core server to a standard (with gui) ensure you have a windows 2012 or R2 installation iso loaded on a datastore (if physical, a CD inserted in the cd tray)
2) Mount an ISO image
a) Select the VM from the list of virtual servers listed under your cluster

b) From the getting started menu under vCenter – Select edit virtual machine settings

c) Highlight from under the hardware options CD/DVD drive 1
